The International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) and College of Teaching have unveiled a certification course for preschool teacher training. The IPC Teaching Certificate is a six month course designed to offer existing and aspiring early childhood teachers with an in-depth overview of major teaching methods. As an online course, students can begin learning immediately and have up to one year to complete the course.
College of Teaching also offers platform access from smart phones and allows students to start and end lectures at their convenience. The various mediums of learning are addressed with the latest technology. As a certification course, successful candidates will receive a certificate from both the IPC and College of Teaching after completion. Although the course is a truly international teacher training certificate, aspiring teachers will have to check that the qualification is recognized in their state or country before embarking on the course. The course also serves as a vocational or professional development course for existing teachers.
The teaching certificate offered by IPC and College of Teaching is awarded on a pass or distinction basis. Satisfactory completion of the course is required to pass. Though the qualification is not recognized everywhere, students are required to validate whether the vocational course is suitable for local compliance requirements.
