Liberal group establishes Edward Snowden legal defense fund ...

The nonprofit group?Progressive Change Campaign Committee has created a legal defense fund for National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden.? Stephen Kohn, executive director of the National Whistleblower Center, announced the campaign in an email to reporters Monday. The group claims that to date more than 29,000 people have signed its?petition?on the matter.

The now-already dated?petition?(it mentions only one private company as being involved in the government surveillance) says: ?It?s outrageous that the government conspired with Verizon to monitor millions of American phone calls. Congress must investigate immediately and disclose its findings to the public.?
